21st Century Skills

David Warlick's idea of the new information landscape plays a vital role in the world of education. He states that the information shape is changing, it is more about conversation. We are now going to the community to find answers where as before we went to the library for the information. If we keep teaching our students in the ways of the past, how will they ever thrive in such a digital world. Educational leaders should provide many professional development opportunities for their teachers to understand the demands of the "new definition of literacy" and how to integrate it into the curriculum. Teachers need to know how to add value to the information. "For the first time in history, preparing our students for a future that we can not clearly describe." We need to get busy.
